TCS CodeVita 2020: Tata Consultancy Services TCS has been conducting CodeVita for the last 8 years across the world. The coders from various countries participate in this competition for a job at TCS and for a huge cash prize. Also you get to learn many new things while participating.
There is no eligibility criteria or any restriction. The only thing is that you must be Undergraduate and Postgraduate to participate in this competition.
TCS is promoting this event across the globe to find good coders who can win coveted ‘World’s Best Coder’ title.

Contest Rounds- CodeVita 2020:
Pre-Qualifier Round (Round 1): It will be conducted in two zonal rounds you will be Given one zone according to your location which will be shown on your Campus Commune profile page 15 days before round 1.
Qualifier Round (Round 2): After round 1 the top performers from their respective zone will get a chance to compete in round 2 of TCS CodeVita.
Grand Finale: The top 30 to 40 students from round 2 will take part in the Grand Finale and the top 3 ranked students will win prizes amounting to USD 20,000.
How to prepare for CodeVita 2020
What kind of questions are there in CodeVita 2020 Round 1?
Round one consists of around 7-8 questions. Most of those questions are Adhoc implementation based questions. There perhaps questions are also associated with file handling, questions also from Breadth-first search(BFS) of graphs are common. You do not have to be compelled to study too several algorithms to clear round one.

What kind of questions are there in CodeVita 2020 Round 2?
Round 2 is a little bit difficult than round 1. Questions based on game theory, graph and tree are generally there.
As for the first round, I think you don’t have to be compelled to prepare something abundant. you’ll be able to get qualified with basic programming skills. In fact, you’ll be able to get through the initial round if you’ll be able to get one question accepted with none test cases wrong. Even then, if you’ll be able to solve one question in six hours, it should serve to induce you through the first round.
